Love in the Mist

So glad that it's Friday evening and that means the weekend has started!
Its been a good but busy day, with a large amount of gardening with children at work and then at our own allotment.  Like everywhere else its been very warm, but obviously not like southern England.
We harvested a lot from our own plot-cauliflowers, courgettes, onions, blackberries, cabbage, beans and broccoli.  I also grow a lot of flowers and here is one of my favourites.  The gladioli are fabulous this year, and the bunch I picked are looking very handsome in a large vase at the fire place.
