Loon Balloons

While using the Flightradar24 app, I noticed this high number (15) of high altitude Loon project balloons south of the equator. The most I have seen spread across the southern half of the African continent.

Loon LLC is an Alphabet Inc. subsidiary working on providing Internet access to rural and remote areas. The company uses high-altitude balloons in the stratosphere at an altitude of 18km to 25km to create an aerial wireless network with up to 1Mbps speeds.
