Charlestown

I went down early before the tourists all arrived - I had hoped for some cool sea breeze but even at 9am the air was like thick porridge!  Cornwall often has clear clean and fresh air but today it felt murky - as it shows in the photo.  There's often a fine silver line on the horizon when it's sunny but today it was a sort-of muffled silver line.  Later in the day the whole sky turned murky and the sun vanished - but SO humid!

Later I looked on the webcam and there was a ship outside the harbour in full sail!  I wish it had been there this morning.  I was tempted to go down there again but the aircon on my car has failed (again!) and I couldn't face the heat!
