Nose Work Puppy

I met with Bodil and Mille after work today to do some Nose Work training. 

Gollum and Mille did some rather advanced searches and then Bodil and I had a Ice Coffee break before Tango did some very simple beginners searches. 

All 3 dogs did excellent - it was great training. 

My main picture is Tango with his nose on the hide and my extra is Gollum with his nose on the hide :-)

Nose Work is a competition sport here in Denmark. It is created to mimic the professional detection dog's tasks. The dog must find a hidden target odor and alert the handler. In Denmark Lavender is the first odor, that you teach the dog to find.

It has been another crazy hot day, so we also managed a short trip to the lake to cool our feet.
