Make hay while the sun shines

It makes more sense to do the haymaking in the early morning or late evening in this heat. Yoga in the park was pleasant this morning and a few returned for coffee afterwards. In the afternoon I joined the French conversation group that I attend when in the UK. The yoga retreat that was due to take place in October has been cancelled because the venue is in the Manchester area and cannot guarantee that the event could take place.  I have had to rearrange flights to India next year at extra cost due to a possible quarantine which would mean I could not attend a rearranged wedding on my return. I very much doubt the trip will be possible anyway.  Everything is so uncertain at the moment - the new normal!
