St Mary's Handbridge
While we were in Chester I went down to the river to see if there were any birds to photograph.
I took several photographs of what I thought was a herring gull until I changed my mind and decided it was more likely to be a greater black backed gull. This was reinforced a bit later when I saw a different bird that looked more like a herring gull than the first one. All this was amongst the predominant black-headed gulls. When I got home I had another look and decided the first one was actually a lesser black-backed gull.
In the meantime I decided not to bother with a bird photograph and go with this view of St Mary's church in Handbridge from across the river.
