Almost high tide

Crisp, then foggy, then mild and moody. We did the long circuit marvelling at the colours of the water, a swell in there today after yesterday's rain. I paddled - cold!
 
A bit of family history research on our return and I was thrilled to find an old photo of my great great great great uncle's house in Akatore. I reckon the photo dates from the 1880s though the clothes the women are wearing look earlier. How amazing to see it.

Esme time on her return from nursery. We frolicked, all ate together (tortellini and salad) and attended her in her bath. Bubbles galore!
