Metal works!

What a beautiful addition to my new border, a lovely birthday present from lovely RF, there are 2 more in another part of the garden.

It wasn't the bright sunny morning I had planned but that did change. We were heading off to a little chalet on a farm in rural Dorset for the weekend and the lovely lady arrived with Murphy and Willis bearing these gifts.

We stopped for lunch on the way at a restaurant set in an old kitchen garden which had been recommended to me, it was a very nice lunch stop.

The chalet is in a very secluded spot and after unpacking we found the footpath to the local pub where we sat waiting for it to open. The sun came out and a pint in the garden was delightful.

It's been a great day.
