Window on the World

The big heat is due. So made the most of today, with our blinds and curtains closed.

Walked round our block 3x. Too hot on the cliff-top for me. Not that bad at the back.

Got back in time time to sort more admin. Why do they always get our surname wrong. Company only open till 4 (Covid hours), so will have to call tomorrow.

Drinks on the lawn at 6. Rosé Primitivo courtesy of E, and my homemade vegan rosemary shortbread. Fab out there. Sea like a lake, cruise ship windows glistening in the sun. Increasingly pink skies.

Back up for Mr G’s amazing salad and rustled up one of my Covid hoard of 2 minute microwave spiced rice.

Not taking the lift, so walked up the stairs, and photographed the view, which is my blip for Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday challenge (no theme today).
