Green barley

Barley still looks very green. July was cold (1.8 degrees below average of 1981-2010), but that's not the main reason. Dry weather during the first five weeks after sowing and wet after that made it sprout over an unusually long period of time, so it may take a long time before it's mostly ripe and it will be very uneven.

A lot to do though before harvest. Got the phoneline poles "harvested" and finished making the new fence.
