Bog

The Bog Asphodel has nearly gone over but is still adding to the variety of colour on the moor.

Nearby I found what I thought was a dead moth floating in a small pond. I lifted it out with a reed and was surprised when it fluttered to the bank and waited for its wings to dry off.
