Not quite there

This Golden Rod has been looking like this for the past 4 weeks and has yet to turn into the colour that gives it the name.

Gave the Green Gym a miss this morning as there was a U tube session for volunteer readers to catch up with the staff of the Open University Audio Recording Centre and be brought up to date with pending plans.  It was also a chance to say farewell to A who is retiring this month.

Had great plans for working in the garden this afternoon, but  was feeling lazy so read instead.

Yesterday I popped over to the charity shop which is planning to open at the end of August.  The layout of the shop has been re-arranged and it will be interesting to see how it works in practice.  Itching to get back!
