Sweet Magnolia

There's nothing quite so southern as these blossoms and as I went out for an abbreviated morning roll, I was happy to see that this tree's buds were starting to bloom. My wife and I will be celebrating our 43rd anniversary later (with friends and neighbors Ron and Betty) with Maine lobster and steamed clams - assuming that the live lobsters we ordered arrive as promised ... and the adventure, through the viewfinder  and with my best friend, continues
