Seagull Ready For Landing
It was early morning at Cocoa Beach, I had my camera...sitting in the sand. The people were out, the birds were out and the little creatures were awaiting the day.
The sun came up over the horizon. As it did, this seagull, who I named Jonathan Livingston (original, huh?) flew across the lens in the pitch, flaps down, gear down, ready for landing.
Sometimes, luck plays a role in my photography--Jonathan passed the lens just at the right time. I must have taken 100 shots during those few minutes when the sun broke the horizon. I seem to learn, every sunrise, the secrets of the lens.
Then, I dusted myself off and went to breakfast.
