2.4km swim

The lake has opened the 800m loop and extended the swim times to 2 hours. I managed 2.4km in 1 hour 15 mins. I'm so chuffed! I was going to stop at 2km but it was raining and the sun was out and there was a beautiful double rainbow over the lake and so I decided to do a little bit more.

I havent done the 800m loop before today. I enjoyed the longer route as less repetitive than doing 400m loops, but it was rather weedy at the far side of the lake and I cant say I like the feeling of the weeds on my legs. I may go back to wearing the wetsuit next time for that reason. I'm enjoying the lake so much this year. I think I will ache tomorrow though.
