Too soon!

Looks like the Japanese maple is already thinking about Autumn.  Well, this side of the tree anyway - the other half is still deep in its summer green phase.

Tim went off for his bike ride this morning, then appeared back home about 45 minutes later (he's normally gone for an hour and a half).  He wasn't feeling quite right, so thought he'd better get himself home (as his head wasn't working properly - not great when you're cycling on busy roads).  He took the day off sick after that.  Very odd as we've both been so careful, so hard to understand how he could have caught anything.  Maybe a resurgence of our earlier post-viral thing.  Let's hope it's nothing new!

It was weird working on my own in our 'office' (aka dining room), though Tim wasn't far away - a few feet behind me in the living room.  I had an OK work day - busy but kind of boring.  I sat outside at lunch, which was lovely - just perfect weather - and took a short break this afternoon to call my Mum, which was nice too.  We also had our Tesco delivery this afternoon, so the boredom was quite well broken up :)

Didn't go for a walk this evening as there was rain forecast, but don't think it ever materialised.  It was nice to have a restful evening though, and to get caught up on my photos a bit.
