Heavy Lift

A quick grab shot at lunchtime today an Antanov AN-124-100 heavy lift cargo plane. This little monster can carry 120 tonnes in its huge cargo hold.

Unlike similar cargo planes these are capable of being loaded from the front or the rear. Unfortunately they had just finished shutting the nose when I got to the airfield. Never mind they visit frequently so maybe catch it loading some other time. Atriculated lorries drive right inside.
