Au revoir

Said goodbye to our little place in paradise this morning, grabbing a final pastry for the journey home. There was some particularly dramatic mist around the castle this morning which added to the feelings of melancholy. All good things etc etc

A massively long day on the road - my dad is a hero and then a disastrous dinner in Calais. Thankfully our extreme tiredness made the whole thing hilarious so there was laughter instead of tears.
