The weir at Crummock Water

It rained heavily all morning until 2pm...

We took a chance and drove to Crummock Water ( 7 miles )...We stayed dry for the first half hour, then the heavens opened once again!

In the photo you can see Rannerdale Knotts, with the Buttermere fells on the right.

Dry weather is forecast for the next few days!

It was such glorious Spring weather during lockdown...and by chance, the first Spring bulbs catalogue arrived today!!!
