Shattered

Teething is really taking its toll on Charlotte. She was awake at four this morning, but went back to sleep till about 6:30. She came into our bed and the two of us watched night garden. Daddy left work work at some ridiculous hour.
Went swimming, exhausting on our own. Usually we go with at least one other mummy / baby, but just us today. No sleep straight after but by 11:30 she crashed on my lap. Was so peaceful just cuddled up.
Friend brought McDonald's round for lunch, so good to catch up as we are so similar in our outlook on life and the babies. Charlotte had to sit on the naughty spot (my lap) for a whole minute as she pulled Izzy's hair and made her cry :(
Afternoon sleep was required. I did 1001 chores but got nursery fees sorted / car booked in for service, (thank you mercedes but I won't be paying £263 for the privilege of having my car washed whilst serviced) found out what type of cot there is in the holiday cottage and emailed pampers re rubbish nappy where the tabs came off!
Charlotte woke just before her daddy got home, shouted dadda dadda dadda when she saw him and polished off masses of bean casserole. Another friend popped round with the little life ladybird back pack / reins thingy she had got for us (boots were doing them on buy one, get one half price, but who would want two? Luckily Sarah wanted the Nemo one for her daughter so at the bargain price of £13.00 we now have uber cool reins)
