The Calm After the Storm

Dear Diary,

Tropical Storm Isaias blew through here last night but this morning the sun is shining and the winds are gone.  I lost power around 6pm last night and it is still out at 7am.  No indication of when the power will be restored either; 10's of thousands are without power this morning here in western Maine.  Thank goodness for my generator.  It is humming along nicely.  My new garden ornament is glowing in a very magical way and I thought it would be a much nicer thing to look at than the few tree limbs down in the yard.  Not too much tree damage, luckily and St. Francis is still on his pedestal in the meditation garden thank goodness.
