Wide Wednesday- heavy metal

Went for a COLD walk today and spied this structure at the local skate park. There were very few people around as the wind had an icy chill. Thanks for hosting Rock Area.

We took our bottles to the recycling depot. Our state has started a system where you get 10 cents back on your used glass and plastic bottles. It has made a difference to the litter lying around. We hadn’t been for ages and received a $5.50 coupon to have redeemed at Woolworths. We then drove out to the air conditioner shop. We are looking at getting a second system for our house and have been waiting since I rang for an appointment on 1st July. They have been very busy and obviously the Covid 19 pandemic hasn’t slowed business. I’m still waiting to hear from the other two businesses I rang on the same day.  

There was another record Covid day in Victoria with over 700 new cases. Qld has closed it’s borders to all of NSW. Our neighbours set off yesterday with their caravan so I hope they get through. Many people from the southern states love going to Qld in the winter to catch some warm weather. The tourism businesses are struggling up there. If anyone wants to set up a business I suggest an air conditioning business here.
