KaliBug's February Challenge: 8) Something in Black and White or Monochrome

These are my beautiful alliums - planted, grown, picked and dried by me. The shot didn't turn out as expected. I know it is a little over-exposed, but it seems to look really flat. I'm discovering all my limitations with this challenge ... I'm not sure I like it! I think I need to do a lot of reading about photography techniques!
