Pigeon Point

I had to go to Santa Cruz today, and decided to come back the long way round, up the coast. It was uniformly grey and gloomy over there, very cooling. Here's Pigeon Point light, just emerging through the fog. (No, that's not a pigeon -the point is probably named for a  ship called Pigeon that got wrecked there, that's the usual naming convention around our coast).
In the extra - 7 grey pelicans, since yesterday's 5 white ones proved so popular. Thank you everyone for being so kind about the pelicans and pylons - I'm happy you liked them.
