Pain in the Patootie

That's what SHE said we was.  What we want to know is, what's a patootie, and why is we a pain in it?

All we was doing was barking at the tradesmen next door.  ENOUGH ALREADY she said.  Oh, she did get cross.  At least we don't howl, like some dogs in the neighbourhood.
