Light Through Trees
I caught this scene in the corner of my eye as I photographed flowers close at hand. A stiff breeze was making it quite a challenge, but another cloudy day gave us some nice light so I thought it worth a try.
I turned my attention to the trees and composed the shot from a distance. I liked the framing provided by the fallen, leaning and still standing trucks making a triangle. There is a natural sense of light in the centre of the frame indicating space through and beyond the trees.
Wind blowing hard turned the leaves inside out making the undersides look white as they reflected the sky. I think with images like this I like to get involved with all of the details.
