had a date down on south congress for first thursday - awesome way to unwind and just have some fun in town, apart from school and capitol business which is often where we spend our time these days.

also needed to run an errand for alan - picking up a few things at uncommon objects for him to send up to dc in a package this weekend.

met up with milli and chuck, keith's coworkers, and the bumming around continued. finished up the evening at lick (the newest ice cream place in town, and, i have to say, definitely stealing amy's thunder!) - and then home, bed, that 6:30 alarm feels too soon almost every day.
