Nando’s in the park

The plan was to dine in at Nando’s as it is taking part in the govt’s half price scheme to help the hospitality industry post lock-down. Arrived at 3pm, after Heidi’s swim, thinking it wouldn’t be too busy. Three hour wait! We opted for full price takeaway (I was starving, having waited so long for lunch) and ate in the park. Not quite what I’d had in mind, but we made the best of it, even improvising cutlery, and amusing ourselves with commentary on the children in the sand pit!
