Empty

Our two year old grandson was picked up by his parents who thoroughly enjoyed their break.  It was good to spend time with him.  And Ellen's brother is off to Italy via an unsheduled stopover in Amsterdam.  So the house is a little quieter although we still hear the rain battering the windows.  The blipped dahlia started the day more vertical.  Some remedial work will be required tomorrow.
