First Still Life

Thought I would try something different (for me) today, a still life, somewhat inspired by the super images that blipper sk comes up with. I've some way to go.

I don't know what this flower is. A couple of them appeared in the garden where they shouldn't have appeared, so I decided to move them to an empty space in the border, destroying one (this one) in the process. I'm hoping the other one still has life in it.

The tile the vase is standing on is a sample which we tried in the en suite, and the shell is from Langkawi, and his been blipped before.

It's been a nothingy sort of day so far, apart from watching Somerset finish Glamorgan off in the cricket on the YouTube match stream this morning.
