Work took me to Glasgow today and I noticed there was a lot of activity around the Rest & Be Thankful as I passed by on the way home.

Those who are familiar with the area will know about the painful long running saga of landslides blocking the only road into this part of Scotland on a fairly regular basis.

You will be pleased to see that the upgrade of the road along the bottom of Glen Croe seems to be progressing and I noticed they are removing a lot of rock from the upper road.

Is this the solution? We shall see!
