A-spire-ing...!

Out and about so today's blip is an upwards shot of a spire on St. Ninian's Cathedral in Perth, Scotland, while passing it on the way out of town.

The cathedral was built in 1849 and was the first built after the Reformation.

I chose this spire as it didn't seem to fit with the rest of the very old building.

I gave it an 'effects' facelift before uploading.
