Cherry Mille Feuille

Been busy today, out with Mr C&D and Magic for coffee and a poke about the local auction viewing....some fabulous bits of furniture, if only I had fifteen foot ceilings and an unlimited reupholstery budget and I have my eye on a cute charm bracelet up for next month's sale.

Home to potter in the kitchen, I made pastry for a chicken and leek pie, and used the leftover bits for this. So a little pastry heavy for today's menu selction but delish nonetheless.

Also made some viennese finger biscuits and a swiss roll, I shall fill that tomorrow with lemoncurd and whipped cream I think.
