Visitor

I was so relieved to visit my lovely gramps today. He looks so much better. Sadly he has to stay in hospital for monitoring and then some treatment on Friday after a change of decision meant he missed his original allocated slot. He was quite upset with the news so I delivered some treats to cheer him up. The hospital food is not to his liking one bit! We Facetimed Granny too whilst I was there so she could see that he was OK.
He is being looked after by a nurse who happens to be the daughter of a friend of his, so at least there's a friendly face who we know will take good care of him when we can't.
