Walk this way: social distancing goes awry

Made my first visit to the university campus for five months today. Had to pre-book a slot via Microsoft Teams. Arrived to find the door wouldn’t open. Sanitized my hands, signed in and went to my office to collect some essentials for the new academic year.

Then spent 15 minutes going round the building, following the prescribed one-way system. That eventually led me to a locked door, no way out and no way back. Carnage!

Managed to find a route out but only by ignoring the signs. Very grateful I won’t be teaching on campus come September!
