Mull of Kintyre

Just before the mist rolled in!

We had an interesting passage from Belfast yesterday, resulting in the Ards Man baling out the engine compartment and calling the coastguard to let them know we had water ingress! A seal on our propeller shaft had been leaking and luckily the AM discovered it before our engine and batteries were submerged.

We limped into Campbeltown too late for a slot in the marina but the kindly McDonalds allowed us to raft up to their boat.

Now en route to Largs for a lift-out for repairs, which the AM hopes to be able to complete himself. I shall visit the hot spots of the town!
