The last time we went through Dundee we ended up with one hotel room where the shower leaked all over the floor, then being moved into a second room where the shower didn't go above the colder side of tepid. Fortunately, as the hotel was still very much freshly-opened and de-snagging they offered us an extra stay at an unspecified point in the future, which we were eventually able to tease back out of them and book. The absence of children meant a leisurely look around the boat exhibition in the museum and a nice long wander round the night-time streets after popping out for spicy food.
