Another Gatekeeper

Another good night’s sleep and another trip down the lane to my butterfly corner which was alive with gatekeepers, small skippers, grasshoppers and the odd peacock, red admiral and large dragonfly.

I’ve blipped another gatekeeper. This one looks as though it’s been through the wars. Apparently butterflies learn to compensate for wing damage although things like glide and flight times may be reduced.

Crab and chilli ravioli for lunch. Salmon Katsu for dinner.

Washed the car and didn’t really do much more although at 11:30 pm I realised I needed 3,000 steps which called for a nocturnal 20 minute walk.
