Woolly twigs
The morning was spent making an owl doorstop with some fabric my lovely friend in Austria gave me. I came home with armfuls of wonderful material and am now starting to use it on some new projects.
This afternoon, we ventured out for a spot of fresh air and exercise. Down to one of our favourite haunts, the Silverknowes promenade along to Cramond. On the way past Lauriston farm, next to the sheep field, I noticed this little bush which seemed to be trying to keep warm for the winter! I've been trying to get a photo of the sheep wool caught along the barbed wire fence but the shots have never been worth blipping. However, I liked this one. You can just see Lauriston Castle in the background.
