Markkula Camp

I drove My Girl to Markkula camp-center , 15 kilometers from Hamina. She went there for overnight Choir camp. They will sing, play instruments and have fun whole day. I'm allowed to pick her home tomorrow evening :D

Road conditions were quite poor, heavy snowing and roads was very slippery. I was little scared, but managed to get there and back safe and sound...;D
The route to Markkula passes through rural and large forests. Those narrow forest roads are like driving in canyons of deep snow. A great-looking scenery in twilight of evening, though...

The photo is from Markkula's beach-sauna terrace to the lake Suur-Merkjärvi. There is possibility to dip in icy lake.
