Vermeer: The Milkmaid

Today in another scenario we might have been in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam relishing looking  at this Vermeer.   I wondered if Tatum or Fiona might try for the remake.   Fiona was game and with her Mom produced this photo in a very short time (extra) which I played with the background a bit.   Mid 16th century meets 21st century.    So fun!   We all learned some.... I left out the foot warmer.    It was Fi’s idea to do it “covid style”.  Very appropriate I think.    We were going to go have a short visit but were all a bit grouchy so will try for earlier tomorrow….(and maybe take Maple for a walk)   Gotta have some laughs for it all…..
