.... Plant your sage in a sunny spot!

As predicted a busy day at King's Cafe, the return of Sunday Lunches contributing to a frantic couple of hours.   As on a previous Sunday, a little snooze was in order when I got home.

I have three different ornamental sages in a pot in the rear garden.  All raised from cuttings, they quickly make good sized plants and flower over a long period in summer.  'Cerro Potosi' - shockingly pink, 'Royal Bumble' - red and 'Nachtvlinder' - darkest purple.  They all flower even better in a poorer soil than this rich potting compost!
