Look Out Below

Me abseiling off the Forth Railway Bridge today - I'm top left of the three coming down at this point. Credit to my GF for the pic.

I had the wee camera up with me, walking out the the abseil point, and managed a few snaps. The views are impressive but at the same time claustrophobic, since you're surrounded by a mass of red girders.

We were actually underneath the tracks - there's a gantry which appears to run the whole length of the Bridge. Even from in there at the viaduct section, you get a real sense of scale. Anyway, raised a three--figure sum for charidee and got a new perspective on a Scottish landmark.
