Old Stock

We’ve had thunderstorms rolling through all day so timing was everything when we headed out for an afternoon wander but we lucked out and made it home with ten minutes to spare before a serious deluge. Sadly, this local photography shop Is gone; we’re awaiting developments.
Even sadder news is that Holzwurm has closed down and it’s beergarden is no more. Not a huge surprise as the owner has been looking to retire for years but a major blow to the card school that seemed to meet there every day and of course any loss of a beergarden is a time of sorrow!
Just along the street I had a panic attack when I thought my favourite cake shop had also closed down but they’re just shut for the August holidays. Whew, that really would have been hard to stomach. Unlike their cheesecake.
