Gatekeeper
Jae was babysitting again today so an early start for him. I woke up then but went back to sleep until about 8-30 AM! I did a few house-jobs and we watched more rugby from Australia. We only watched one of the Aussie games on offer today though.
The reason for that is that today is the auspicious day that our own European Superleague got underway again! Unfortunately we have lost a participant - the Toronto Wolfpack will play no further part this season, but hopefully we will be able to welcome them back next season. Our team, Wigan Warriors should have faced them today but now we will have to wait until next week to see how lockdown has affected their form.
We have watched one of the two Round 4 games to take part today and are about to watch the other. These are catch-up games which were postponed even before lockdown due to a massive storm/hurricane! (Storm Ciara!) What a year 2020 is turning out to be!
We also went out for a walk along the riverbank to get a Blip - there were a few butterflies around, along with other insects. I don't think I have Blipped a Gatekeeper before so I will go with this shot! I wonder why it is called the Gatekeeper... I'd call it the Button-Wing. Googled...apparently it sbecause it's often found in gateways where cumps of flowers grow, as well as hedgerows and the edges of fields, etc.
