Old Moor

I went to OM today for only the second time since March. It was grey, windy and a bit rainy here and looked much brighter over there, so off I went. It was lovely, not too many people but there were a few friends that I hadn't seen in a long while and was lovely to chat. 

There are three hides open but I only went in one of them - the Bittern Hide which now has little booths to sit in. People are separated by plastic screens. It feels safe. 

I really enjoyed using my macro lens and found this male common blue butterfly. It looks very fresh and was stunning against the yellow of the birds foot trefoil.
