The Warrior Approaches, Maidstone Museum

This samurai warrior appears to coming straight towards the camera but is actually a reflection of an image in the front window of Maidstone Museum. You could say he's making an exhibition of himself (sorry, that's a really terrible pun)!
After taking this image we went for a drink at The Market House pub in central Maidstone. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Today we were served by a Megan Rapinoe (the American professional soccer player) look-a-like who was very smiley and seemed genuinely happy to see us as customers. I know it's not an easy job, especially since lockdown, but there are far too may staff in pubs (even pre-lockdown) who are either completely dismissive of you as a customer or make out they are doing you a massive favour by serving you at all. Thankfully there are several good exceptions - today being an example.
