Ryton Willows

Another spot along their river Tyne. Scene of a 17th Century battle where the Scots defeated the English and later on a golf course and pleasure park. Now it's simply a tranquil dog walking space and nature reserve with grazing cattle.

On the evening, my eldest daughter & Dan came round for dinner. Tonnes of mint is growing in the garden so we moved on from mint tea and experimented with Mojitos.
