Pebble Hook tip

Another moth trap offering I am afraid as the weather is really hot - too hot to be out insect hunting!
This beauty is a Pebble hook tip, so named after the hook tips to the front wings. There are several species that make up the Hook tip family 3 of which i catch quite often in my trap.

Grateful today for - warm weather, even if it does make bug hunting difficult!
