Robin at Greylake

Went for a walk round the RSPB Reserve at Greylake this morning. Have driven past it countless times on our way to and from Taunton but never called in before. Saw lots of wigeon, shoveller, snipe, a great egret and were even very lucky to get a good view of a marsh harrier harrying the ducks.

However, the only bird I could get a good (albeit heavily cropped) shot of with a 55mm lens was this robin, but I rather liked his perky stance on the tree stump.

Really enjoyed Les Mis last night: thought the lead actors did a good job of the singing roles and the set pieces were certainly spectacular.
